There is very little difference in the sound of most of the professional string quartets that play weddings in the

Philadelphia, South Jersey, Wilmington area.

I just received your CD in the mail this past week and I’ve been loving it. It really puts me in the wedding spirit and makes me realize just how important the ceremony music is. I was planning on just having a harpist and vocalist and if I didn’t get your CD this week I probably would have already signed a contract with the harpist.

What sets the Shrewsbury String Quartet apart from the others is how easy it is to work with us. One of the most frequent complaints that we hear from brides is how difficult it is to get in contact with some other contract musicians and that it takes an unreasonably long time for some of them to answer emails or return phone calls.

We have performed at several hundred weddings and are very familiar with the timing of the music. Other quartets may sound fine, but if they play at the wrong time or do not end the song at the proper time, can cause unnecessary stress for the bride.
